About Me

Hi! My name is Talia. I am the artist and shop owner of Da Cool Shop! I create all the designs and original paintings that can be found here. I have always had a love and passion for art, but I never really thought that I could put my creativity to work. 

I graduated from college this year and planned to apply to medical school, but the pandemic put a pause in those plans. I decided to take a year off to work and start paying off my student loans before applying to medical school. My brother had owned an Etsy shop for a couple months, and he encouraged me to start my own shop. Huge thanks to my brother for helping me start out, I never could have done this without him! During the quarantine days, I learned Photoshop, which opened up a whole new world for me. I finally had the tools to create the designs that had been bouncing around in my head for a while. 

I am so unbelievably grateful that so many of you have felt a connection to my Avatar: The Last Airbender collection. I have been a huge fan of ATLA since it first aired. I genuinely believe it is one of the greatest series of all time. I knew exactly what types of ATLA designs would really capture the beauty and spirit of the show. I am so happy that I get to share these designs with the ATLA community!
